Home Renovation: A Significant Task of the Winter Season

The middle of winter doesn’t seem a good time to begin home improvement, but the season has an amazing appeal for DIY. If the winter starts, it doesn’t mean you have to hang your tool belt and you can’t install the heated driveway Toronto . Sometimes, homeowners can achieve more within a shorter period as holidays begin; there are no outdoor events and other warm-weather distractions. Keep going your DIY-ing throughout the year with these winter home improvement projects: Upgrade Your Laundry Space The most common issue that arises in Laundry rooms is leakage, so this is generally a sledgehammer-free task. This ensures that no windows are opened on a seven-degree day to release dust. You can add shelves and bins to laundry baskets and detergents to make your bleak laundry space more useful. You may make a storage cabinet and a place for folding attires. By adding a little peel and stick wallpaper, you can make the heavy chore room more pleasant without spraying paint in your home.

Clovelly Home by Modscape

Designed for a young couple in 2020 by Modscape , this inspiring two-story modular house is situated in Clovelly, Australia. Description In the picturesque location of Sydney’s famous beaches sits the Clovelly home – a symbol of a young couple’s new life journey. With a brief for a “forever home”, the two-storey residence is comprised of six prefabricated modules that form a low-maintenance family space with plenty of room for the eventual addition of new, smaller family members. The ocean beckons, only a stone’s throw from the property, so it would be inarguably criminal to not take advantage of the views. For the clients, it was essential that they would be able to enjoy the ocean front from anywhere in the house, including the backyard. To cater, the design sits in orientation to the view, with a long, open plan living/kitchen space that leads from the rear decking and opens up at the front to full-height windows and a cantilevered balcony. This not only draws the bre

The four pillars with cladding and its roof style make the facade look sophisticated.  This house is estimated to cost USD 80,000 or that is around

Roseberry Street House by Chan Architecture

This project was a rear and upstairs extension to a double fronted Victorian terrace house located in Hawthorn East, Melbourne, Australia. The brief was to retain the character of the period home at the front of the house and design a spacious, light-filled modern extension to the rear. Description Our response was to introduce a series of large skylights, light courts and highlight windows to bring natural light into the house, creating changing qualities of light throughout the day. The kitchen was designed to be at the heart of the home, with an oversized feature island bench, subtle textures and fine black shadow lines to compliment the steel framed doors and large skylight over which allows natural light into the kitchen at all times of the day. The living room was designed to be a more intimate space, with finely detailed steel framed doors which open the room out to the backyard, increasing the sense of space and providing flexibility depending on the weather and
