Redesigned in 2019 by Arctitudesign , this amazing apartment is situated in Hong Kong, China. Description We wanted to do a renovation that based on how we would like to live in it combined with client’s characters. We also wanted to accentuate and maximize the airiness and the natural light into the space. Light colour oak timber flooring makes the space feels larger than what it is. The combination of timber veneer and natural colour tone cabinetry create soft, clean and refined look. Natural white paint imbues warmth and reflects the various colours of the sky at different time of the day. Designed in 2017 by Anthrosite , this inspiring single family house is situated in Whitebridge, Australia. Description This new home was informed by our client’s experience living on the site. The design responded to a desire for a home that would allow a young family to have a seamless relationship with the native landscape of the site. Coastal winds, high saline conditions, bush fire regulations and traffic noise were all notable factors in shaping a building form that cradles a central garden room on the bushland side of the dwelling. The garden room became not only the pivot point for the communal spaces of the house but also an all weather outdoor living room whose activity creates the heart of the home. Located in Surat, Gujarat, this contemporary two-story private house has been designed in 2020 by Openideas Architects . Description Hive is conceived and designed as an intelligent, adaptable and sustainable family home at Surat, Gujarat. The form of the house is seeded in the profession of the client — who is part of an extremely successful company engaged in making machines for the diamond industry. The site is located in Vesu, an upcoming part of Surat. The plotted development has apartment complexes on the east and west plots. This particular project was part of four plots taken for the extended Mistry family. Being well-informed about architecture and given his core competency in mechanical engineering, the client was very clear about what he wanted as a ‘home’ — a smart structure rendered in metal and a ‘mono-space’ living area.
