This hot luxury office space designed by Ultraconfidentiel Design for Haldia Petrochemicals & TCG Offices is situated in Mumbai, India. Description The team processed, analysed and drew inspiration from Japanese culture, a specific request from the client, and interpreted its application to the entire space. The resultant innovation was the creation of an amorphous shape in wood which is constantly customized in various manner along the entire space at TCG Mumbai. A wave of a constant emotional feeling is characterized through the space effortlessly with a multitude of simple wooden pieces. The entire impression of luxury with the wooden baffles is carried from the reception area to the Chairman’s office and the overall effect is magnified and highlighted along its walls with the use of high-end materials like leather, marble, brass and wooden flooring. Boundary Bay Residence by Frits de Vries Architects

Redesigned in 2018 by Frits de Vries Architects , this luxurious single family house is located in Delta, Canada. Description Situated on the tidal flats of Centennial Beach, the Boundary Bay Residence was originally conceived and realized by locally renowned Architect Daniel Evan White in 1990. A master of balance and the interplay between shape and form, the unassuming modernist architect, who began his career under the mentorship of Arthur Erickson, was responsible for hundreds of residences up and down the West Coast of Canada. Boundary Bay Residence was bought by the current owners in 2015 with a view to sensitively remodel the home. Their primary objectives included: enhance street presence and clarify entry sequence; reprogram exterior living areas to refine relationships to the site; and building envelope remediation. Izar Houses by Taller ADG

This amazing retreat located in Valle de Bravo, Mexico, has been designed in 2020 by Taller ADG . Description Twin houses with an area of 1,105 m² each set within a forest, the materials, finishes and functional design achieve harmony with nature. The houses have a private area of 600m² in a lower level and a living area of 400m². In the upper and access levels the construction on a stepped slope is advantageous in terms of views of the lake from upper floors. The skin of the houses is made of wooden tiles that integrate into the landscape. Smith Residence by Mackay-Lyons Sweetapple

Located in Nova Scotia, Canada, Smith Residence is a vacation home consisting of three pavilions on a two-acre site spanning from a salt pond to bold oceanfront. The project has been recently designed by Mackay-Lyons Sweetapple Architects . Description This is a proto-urban project, forming a village, together with other houses designed by the architect, on the site of a historic fishing village. While the traditional forms of these houses echo the local vernacular, they are made absolutely modern through their cladding, fenestration and minimalist detailing. Smith Residence is a mature expression of an architectural language, developed over forty years. The clients requested a house that referenced the history of the site – namely, a 400-year-old granite ruin that sits adjacent. The Hiding House by Wutopia Lab

Wutopia Lab recently finished this house with a black courtyard called the hiding house . It’s situated in Shanghai, China. Description It cost six years to finish the project. It was a small museum, a library, a showroom, a clubhouse, or a home. The variation implied a change in life. Thus, designers set out a basic architecture frame with multiple possibilities. A continues surface divided the house into two: living space and service space. At the Southside of the continuous surface, there were a living room serving as an exhibition room and library, a canteen, a master bedroom, a tea room, a courtyard serving as garden and stage. At the other side was the kitchen, toilet, equipment room and a girl’s room for exhibition purpose. Mezzanine space was designed for services, storage space and living space.
