Sunrise by Jolson Architecture Interiors

Sunrise is a contemporary residence located in Melbourne, Australia, designed by Jolson Architecture Interiors . Description The Sunrise Confectioners interior is a contemporary urban oasis. Built within the mask of an existing factory shell, the hierarchy of spaces is clearly divided between office and home to create a contemporary solution to the live / work situation. The residence – consisting of two levels – responds effortlessly to the needs of a young professional, growing family. It is the prime residence of architect Stephen Jolson, his wife and two young boys. The house is reached via a floating, back-lit steel ribbon staircase which becomes the transition between the derelict façade and a refined interior. Manhattan Loft in Moscow by INRE

Recently desinged by INRE , Manhattan Loft is a four-story loft located in the Manhattan House residential complex in Moscow, Russia. Description Four-story loft in the Manhattan House residential complex in Moscow. A project that was developed along with the history of a family. The complex of lofts “Manhattan House” on Verkhnyaya Maslovka street in Moscow is a reconstruction of a factory built in the 1930s. The exterior of the building is made in the style of American classicism: heavy entrance doors, large windows, an elevator with an arrow indicating the floor number. The owner of the Manhattan Loft likes industrial style and the office of his marketing agency situated in the Flacon art cluster was decorated in that style. He also arranged a two-story apartment on the top floor of the complex in a loft. The entire project was made in two steps: in 2017 designers from INRE had made the interiors of two floors. A few years later when the owner’s daughters were bo

Safe Haven for Two by Kseniya Mitskevich

Safe Haven for Two is a chic apartment located in Minsk, Belarus, recently designed by Kseniya Mitskevich . Description The inspiration for this project was its location – a suburban residential complex on the shores of the Minsk Sea near a forest. The main task in the interior was to combine the architectural image of the complex and fill it with shades of wildlife. Initially, according to the layout, the apartment had 3 bathrooms, one of which we gave as a cloakroom at the entrance – convenient and functional. Since the house is panel-built, the basic layout was initially determined. However, we made the necessary adjustments – we increased the hallway area and hid the kitchen and living room area as much as possible from the eyes of people entering the apartment. For the flooring, we chose porcelain stoneware with a pattern of natural stone and parquet board with an oak texture. This allowed us to do without a floor plinth, all coatings clearly adjoin the wal
